United Auto Workers Good Friday Tournament
The Team of Barnes and Govreau take First place

Todd Barnes, Sponsored by Lil’ Hustler Tackle Co teamed up with Brett Govreau firmly take first place in the UAW Good Friday Tournament held on the Lake of the Ozarks. The Ozarks were pounded with a cold rain Thursday evening into Friday morning. The rain dirtied up part of the lake as well as dropping water temperatures to an average 45 degrees.

Traveling up the Osage River 50 miles and not having the opportunity to pre-fish. Barnes and Govreau began throwing a 6’ diving crankbait and the Lil’ Hustler tandem Mirage Escort spinnerbait to help cover water. When connecting with a solid 3 pounder about 9:30 a second also fell victim to the Mirage Escort Series spinnerbait. Having 7 keepers, the top five tipped the scale at 16.11 pounds to take first place with second place weighing in four fish for 12.74 pounds. The team of Barnes and Govreau also captured big bass weighing in 4.46 pounds.
